THE MARINA EXPERIMENT has successfully screened in universities, high schools, art galleries, museums and art fairs around the world.
SELECTED SCREENINGS where Marina has done Q&A's:
• NYU Center for Neural Science, presented to the students of Joseph LeDoux, whose work has focused on the study of the neural basis of emotions, especially fear and anxiety. The group presented to was taking a class called “Emotion, Memory, and the Brain."
• THE SORBONNE (Paris), where it was highlighted in a Film Analysis class and also featured for a course on The Psychology of Perversion.
• BRYN MAWR for a course titled "Identification in the Cinema," focused on the ways that the self is defined in and through images.
• CINEMA APOLLO a theatrical screening in Chateauroux, France, where the audience consisted of retired Vietnam Veterans who related to the film because of their personal experiences with post traumatic stress disorder.

SOUVENIRS FROM EARTH October 23, 2010
The cable TV station Souvenirs From Earth, currently available in France and Germany, broadcast The Marina Experiment at the same time it screened live in Paris. Souvenirs from Earth is the first TV station broadcasting a 24/7 program of Film and Video art, transforming flat screens into art terminals, giving access to the avant-garde of visual cultures.
DEATH BE KIND June 29 2010 to July 30 2011
a twelve month curatorial project called “The Memorial” reproduced text and images from the film in a magazine devoted to objects inherited from the dead.

Thailand’s leading film critic and writer, Sonthaya Subyen, screened the film as part of the Best of the 2009 Sydney Underground Film Festival.
Screening and discussion with high school film students.
Screening and lecture for a course entitled "Identification in the Cinema" about the ways that the self is defined in and through images.
Screening and discussion at The Center for Neural Science for a course called “Emotion, Memory, and the Brain.” The students research is aimed at understanding the biological mechanisms of emotional memory and how the brain learns and stores information about danger.
